- EDAMOK
Enabling Distributed and Autonomous Management of Knowledge.
The aim of this project is to develop research in information
technology and software tools that support the Distributed and
Autonomous Management of Knowledge. The goal will be achieved by: (a)
structuring knowledge in different "contexts", (b) providing a set of
techniques allowing for the interoperability and
the interaction among different contexts; (c) implementing the
techniques on an experimental platform supporting distributed and
autonomous knowledge management; (d) experimentally evaluating with
significant business cases the techniques for creating, codifying and
exchanging knowledge.
- DataGRID a
project proposal for the management of very large amounts of
distributed data, with high throughput computing and automated
management of both local computing fabrics, and the wide-area GRID.
- Mirvac
a project for the developement of a specialized and adaptive search
engine for the cultural domain. The engine will integrate information
available on different sources such as museums and libraries and it
will be exploited in a cultural web portal.
- AIDA 99 Agents and
Intelligent Database Access. AIDA is an IRST internal project with hhe
goal of the project is the developement of agent based technology for
information access and presentation. This techology are adopted and
validated in application domains such as, Turism, Culture and Civil
Protection.
- AIDA 2000 IRST Research Project
in
the area of
Distributed Intelligent Systems and Agents.
- Alpinspace
a project for the enhancing of the collaboration among closed regions
for the development of innovative systems for emergencies prevention
and management.
- Test and development of a third generation Agent
Platform based on JACK Intelligent Agent developed at Agent Oriented Software, in
Melbourne, Australia.
